It has been an exciting year at the practice and since fully re-opening in June 2020 after the initial lockdown, we have been extremely busy.  The practice has been providing a full dental service whilst complying with the highest standards of cross infection control.  We are lucky to have three well ventilated waiting rooms so that our patients can socially distance themselves.  Our dental hygienists are always in demand and to improve access for our patients we recently completed our refurbishment, by installing surgery 5, a dedicated hygienist surgery.  This has allowed us to increase our number of  hygienist appointments with two hygienists working both on a Monday and Friday and one hygienist for the rest of the week.

Oonagh joined our team in 2019 and is our invisalign provider, the most popular clear brace system available.  Roland joined our team at a similar time and visits us each month to treat the more complicated root canal treatments.  He has previously worked at a root canal referral practice in Manchester and has his own successful practice in Sheffield.
Rob recently rejoined Rawdon after buying his own Practice. Rob provides our dental implant service.

The practice has seen an influx of new patients and in January Chris joined our team as another associate dentist helping to treat these patients.

We have continued our investment in the Practice this year and recently bought two digital scanners. For patients this means we rarely take dental impressions and instead 3D images of the teeth are emailed to our dedicated dental laboratories across the country. For the dentist this provides consistently accurate and high quality laboratory work such as crowns, bridges and whitening trays. Often the crowns are milled and the whitening trays digitally printed to help ensure they fit perfectly.

We would like to welcome Sarah back who has rejoined our reception team after a years maternity and say good bye to Issy who left us just before Christmas on maternity. We wish her well.
